Information Overload Exhibition Identity
Produce a piece of creative work in response to the theme of information Overload to be exhibited in a public venue; think carefully about the theme, considering possible approaches you could use to inform your research; starting points could include; issues around how much time is spent or wasted reading e-mails, and the effectiveness of online surveys; notable website crashes; the mass gathering of surveillance information consumer comparison websites, sensory overload when visiting galleries and museums . . ‘clickbait’ and information distraction when driving .
Below shows the poster I produced, I chose to represent Information Overload through the annoyance of internet pop ups and how they disturb our every day life on the web. The use of the font Windings was used to represent overloading and the atmosphere this creates for us. I used overtones allowing shapes to be transparent allowing the design to collide.

I have also produced an E-Invite aspects of the design has had to be adjusted to work on a different dimension.
I was also tasked to produce a exhibition piece. Say hello to the art glitch.
“My brain is experiencing technical difficulties please stand by”.
The art glitch creates immense power to subvert global communication technologies, control or mass entertainment. It visualises the experience of information overload in our every day lives. We are exposed to so much different imagery in different ways. I wanted to show different ways information overload can be shown in each strip.
The images are interpolated and a new image is obtained overall resulting from the mixture of saturation and colour information.
We cant quite make out each image, this shows what we are experiencing due to the overload.
